Tight squeeze on Iturbide Street
The Challenge
Working near the Rio Grande means navigating tight alleyways and heavy foot traffic. A contractor gutting a 1960s storefront on Iturbide Street had piles of concrete and rebar blocking the rear exit. The alley was too narrow for a standard truck, and leaving debris overnight wasn't an option due to city ordinances. They needed a rapid extraction plan immediately.
The Result
We brought in our smaller single-axle truck to maneuver a 20-yard bin into the loading dock before sunrise. I personally coordinated the drop to ensure we didn't clip the historic brickwork. We ran three swaps in 24 hours, keeping the alley clear for delivery trucks. The crew finished the demo phase two days ahead of schedule.
Esteban knew exactly how to angle that truck into the alley without hitting the utility lines.
