Replacing a Historic Patio Without a Trace
We got a call from a homeowner right in the old district. Their original 1940s concrete patio was crumbling and needed a full replacement, but they were terrified of the mess. The house was packed with family heirlooms, and the only access was a narrow side alley. The pressure was on to contain every single piece of busted concrete and dusty mortar without letting any of it spill onto their pristine, century-old brick walkway.
Our crew rolled up with a 10-yard concrete-specific dumpster first thing Monday morning. We laid down thick protective mats along the entire access path before we even positioned the container. The demo team broke up the old slab carefully, and we loaded every chunk by hand into the dumpster. By the end of day two, the old patio was gone, the walkway was spotless, and the new concrete guys had a perfectly clean slate to start their pour the next morning.
You guys left the place cleaner than you found it, and my grandmother's roses were never touched.
